CONFIRMATION CLASS

We have a 2 year confirmation program for 7th and 8th grade students. Over the course of the 2 years, the youth learn about the Bible and our church as well as other religions that are in our area. Through a variety of experiences, they are able to confirm that Methodism is the religion for them. At the end of the program, we celebrate their growth and they are confirmed as members of Big Beaver United Methodist Church.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

During the summer, we offer a week of fun for children preschool – 5th grade to learn about Jesus through stories, songs, games and crafts. VBS is open to any children who are interested in attending. You do not need to a member or attend BBUMC to come

.

REDUCE THE RISK POLICY

As a congregation we desire that our children, youth and vulnerable adults be able to enjoy a place where they can worship and feel secure in God’s love and fellowship within a Christian community. We provide training for our adult volunteers working with children, youth and vulnerable adults. We ask our volunteers working with these groups to attend additional training every 3 years. If you are interested in working with any of these groups please come to the church office and complete a volunteer application.
